Ice Stuck on the Plates and Not Dropping in Tiki island
What we found and did
Matthew found that all the ice was built up on the plates and not allowing it to go down the chute. He found that the stainless steal ice plates have bad scale and are browning, causing the ice to get stuck during the harvest. He cleaned off the plate the best he could without damaging it and replaced the water filter. He then watched the system go through 3 cycles and it dropped ice, though ice was still getting stuck on the left plate during harvest while during full the ice was starting to properly drop.
Result
The system is making ice now, though the damaged plates may keep causing issues in the future.
