On the first visit, Adrian found the compressor was not starting up, and the dual run capacitor was reading 12.6 mf on the compressor side, so he replaced the dual run capacitor on the condenser. On the second visit, Matthew found that the contactor in the air handler was fried and broken up due to rust corrosion, and the drain pan was full of water because the drain line was not glued. He replaced the contactor, glued the drain line back together, and washed out the secondary drain pan.
The system was cooling, and Matthew checked the pressure and the delta T and found them at optimal numbers.
